Committed to our industrial expertise, we produce Zodiac Original pools at the CF group factory in Buhl, Alsace (France). Employees with unique know-how (it takes an average of 6 months to fully master the thermobonding process) are dedicated to producing our pools to the highest quality standards.
Our integrated design office, based in Alsace and Brittany, supports the operational implementation of Zodiac Original pools. It is the guarantor of the specificities and technical qualifications of our products, and ensures strict compliance with the defined specifications throughout the production chain.

At every stage of the manufacturing process, Zodiac Original tanks are subjected to a range of tests that exceed normal conditions of use in order to ensure their strength and resistance to pressure and impact.

The Dynalon© is a proven material used in the marine industry and in the manufacture of inflatable boats. It is made of a dense polyester fabric covered with PVC. Flexible and strong, Dynalon© is uncompromisingly durable: it is extremely resistant to tearing, abrasion, and climatic aggressions (rain, UV rays, etc.).
The manufacture of Zodiac Original pools is made possible by the thermal banding, a patented, state-of-the-art industrial welding process. This process is used in the aeronautics industry (for example, in the manufacture of airplane slides or life rafts), but also in the inflatable boat industry for pleasure craft and professionals (sea rescuers, army, etc.).
The thermal bandingconsists of a hot assembly of Dynalon© panels. It ensures a perfect waterproofness and a solidity to any test. Almost indestructible, the assembly carried out by welding is in fact superior to the fabric's own resistance.
Each Zodiac Original pool is equipped witha floating skimmerwith patented technology. Combined with the sand filtration system, it helps provide optimal water quality.
The iconic design of Zodiac Original pools has remained unchanged since 1979, with one exception: the original beige color with a brown belt was replaced in the 2000s by the current gray color with a dark blue belt.
